  2.  *** A little help getting started ***
  3.  
  4.  For every provider you wish to cantact,
  5.  you need:
  6.            ENV:providerDIAL
  7.            ENV:providerDIAL2 (optional)
  8.            ENV:providerPOPARGS (optional)
  9.  'provider' can be any name you want, this is
  10.  the DIAL argument for startnet. Do NOT use
  11.  dot '.' character(s) and spaces in ENV: filenames!
  12.  
  13.  !!! DO NOT USE OLD POPARGS FILES !!!
  14.  
  15.  ENV:providerDIAL contains the dialscript BEFORE the
  16.  password, ENV:providerDIAL2 only is needed when you
  17.  need to send something AFTER the password.
  18.  You need ENV:providerPOPARGS if AmiPOP is to start.
  19.  If you don't have AmiPOP, delete ENV:#?POPARGS files!
  20.  newDIAL, xs4allDIAL and xs4allPOPARGS are examples
  21.  for you to edit to your specific needs.

  23.  ENV:Sana2/ppp0.config: the DIALSCRIPT should
  24.  be set to T:DIALSCRIPT. Example:
  25.  serial.device 0 38400 0.0.0.0 7WIRE DIALSCRIPT=T:DIALSCRIPT
  26.  
  27.  All these ENV: files should be copied to your
  28.  ENVARC: directory for some permanency. Please be
  29.  carefull, startnet sets FileNote on 'ENV:providerDIAL',
  30.  which contains the password. This is NOT to be copied
  31.  to ENVARC:, except when you don't care for safety
  32.  for some passwords ('guest' and 'new' passwords).

  34.  If you want to contact a provider that does not need
  35.  a password, set the FilNote on providerDIAL to NOPASSWORD.
  36.  (see env/newDIAL for an example)
  37.  
  38.  db/resolv.conf - Add the domain names (and their
  39.  name servers) of all the providers you want to dial.
  40.  
  41.  db/interfaces - add somthing like this if it's not
  42.  allready there:
  43.  ppp0 DEV=DEVS:Networks/ppp.device UNIT=0 IPTYPE=33 NOARP P2P

  45.  !!! Set the .DEF args in startnet to what you need. !!!
  46.  
  47.  !!! If you don't want aws to start,  !!!
  48.  !!! delete lines in startnet/stopnet !!!
  49.  
  50.  If you use the provided newDIAL file, you will be
  51.  connected to xs4all in Amsterdam. Login=new.
  52.  If you call from outside Holland, edit ENV:xs4allDIAL
  53.  for the correct phone number.
  54.  
  55.  Before you try to connect, start startnet with
  56.  'debug' arg to see the DIALSCRIPT and or POPARGS.
